Your club is committed to the motoring safety of its members and motorists generally, and we urge drivers to take extra care on the road during the holiday season. If you're planning a long trip, book ahead with accommodation (RACQ can help there), so you don't arrive at a destination after a tiring day behind the wheel only to find there's nowhere to stay. Tr y to get plenty of sleep the night before you leave and have a 15-minute break every two hours on the road. It's important that children (and pets) are properly restrained in your car. Also, most of us tend to pack our cars with all sorts of paraphernalia for a holiday, so take care how your luggage is stowed and secured. If you're planning a long journey, it's worth considering both an RACQ vehicle inspection and upgrading to one of RACQ's premium products, like Ultra Care, for extra protection and peace of mind. I'd like to wish all of our members and staff a very happy and safe Christmas.
