Modelled on RACQ's popular online trip planner, Learner Drives gives learners access to driving routes throughout Queensland designed to develop their driving skills in a variety of traffic conditions. Each drive includes a print-out with driving directions, a checklist of skills encountered on the drive, as well as a section to record the driving details to be transferred into the learner logbook when the drive is completed. What to expect from each drive is clearly explained (see featured drive for an example) and attractions and activities in the area are also mentioned to help integrate the pursuit of on-road driving time with other leisure activities.
