Prices are mostly $12 to $35 a bottle. Moonrise Estate, run by the owners of the Amberley Edge B&B, is another to consider. It's a small vineyard, but there are some nice wines available at the cellar door (open daily). Wooded and unwooded chardonnay, merlot, shiraz, shiraz rose and liqueur muscat head the list. Prices range from $15 to $25, with free freight within Australia for dozen buys. In Februar y, you can also come into the vineyard and pick your own black muscat grapes for $2.50 a kg (byo bag). You can stay here too. The Amberley Edge B&B offers three large, ensuite bedrooms and a common, large lounge and dining room, ser ved by a glorious fireplace. The rooms are well equipped, comfor table and each one has a distinctive character. With 10 types of apple juice, eight types of fruit liqueur and sparkling apple cider available for tasting and purchase, there is something for all the family. The juices combine apple with other delights such as ginger and mandarin, or you can go for a straight juice but pick your apple variety (e.g. pink lady). The alcoholic cider is ver y popular, as are the liqueurs. The 'cellar door' also stocks a range of food products.
