Now in its third year, the event is spread over three weekends in March at various surf breaks and beachside venues. The festival will open on March 7 with the Bleach Mini Festival in Coolangatta, a family- friendly event with plenty of activities for all ages. The second weekend of the festival will shift to Currumbin, where the Bleach Boulevard will host an all-new music program, markets and outdoor performances. The festival kicks off with Apple Day on the Friday and a gala ball on Friday night. The celebrations continue on the Saturday, with a street parade, celebrity grape crush and fireworks display.
